This program prepares students to use the nursing process to collect and organize relevant health care data and assist in the identification of the health needs/problems of clients throughout their life span and in a variety of settings.
The Culinary Arts Certificate prepares students to operate successfully in commercial kitchens with fundamental food preparation, baking and presentation skills. All courses in the certificate can be applied to a Culinary Arts associate degree.

Hillside Work Scholarship Connection of Prince George’s County helps youth stay in school, earn their high school diplomas and prepare for secondary education or employment. Students enter the program in seventh through ninth grade. School-based youth advocates provide 360-degree support to help students develop good habits, acquire social skills, and achieve their potential to become contributing, responsible young people at home, in school and at work. Hillside is active in the following schools.
Two-year institution offers a variety of programs, including one that enables high school dropouts to earn GEDs, and others that can lead to transferring to a four-year college. Credit programs include all associate degrees, certificates and letters of recognition (LOR). The college offers four degree and career programs: Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Science (A.S.), Associate of Arts in Teaching (A.A.T.) and Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.).
Established in 1998, UM-EOC is designed to help adults, 19 and older – who are low-income potential college students – with assistance in pursuing post-secondary educational opportunities. It provides: academic and career counseling; financial and admissions application assistance; academic “enhancement workshops,” and referrals for GED.
Founded in 1991, First Generation College Bound helps young people realize a dream that often seems out of reach- to be the first in their family to earn a post-secondary degree. FGCB provides pathways thru high school and into college for low to moderate income, at risk, underrepresented youth who attend Prince George’s County Public Schools.
