Do you believe that children have the right to live in a safe and nurturing home? Do you want to help a young person transition successfully out of foster care? Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer today!
CASA/Prince George’s County is a volunteer-based organization that partners with the juvenile court to positively impact the lives of abused and neglected children living in foster care. Volunteers are matched 1-on-1 to a child or teen in foster care and support them with mentorship and advocacy. It is known that incidences of abuse and neglect increase during disasters. During these uncertain times, you can support one of the 300 youth in foster care who still need an advocate to represent their best interests.
