While LGBTQ people are enjoying increasing acceptance and visibility nationwide, sexual and gender minority youth continue to struggle with unique challenges and disparities. This webinar is designed to help volunteers understand the pressures faced by queer, gender diverse, and questioning young people in the foster system, navigate the ever-changing terms and codes of LGBTQ culture, and prepare to best assist them by meeting them where they are.
This webinar is presented by the Maryland CASA Association and is eligible for in-service credit. Please be sure to include the webinar on your activities log to receive in-service credit.
