Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Training-Identifying “Red Flags”

September 7, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

This is a training hosted by CAFY.  Volunteers who attend should notify CASA to receive in-service credit.

The goal of the training is to help residents of Prince George’s County recognize the signs of abuse and start conversations to end the silence around domestic violence and sexual assault.  To “BREAK the Silence” CAFY encourages more people to start talking about these critical issues in a new way.

During this culturally specific training, participants will:
Develop the understanding and awareness to recognize “Red Flags” where domestic violence/sexual assault is occurring
Learn skills and strategies to prevent or address violence as a Bystander
Identify ways to influence a culture that does not tolerate domestic violence/sexual assault in ANY form

*CAFY’s Brown Bag Training – bring lunch or snack and we will provide the COOKIES!
