For CASA/Prince George’s County, #GivingTuesday is a chance to talk about our values and why we care so much about the work that we do and the invaluable service of our volunteers! Tell us what #GivingTuesday means to you at our Holiday Social and Gift Drive on December 3rd. At this event we will screen and discuss “The Day I Age Out,” a mini-docu-series following two foster youth as they prepare to age out of foster care to adulthood.
While the holidays are typically an exciting time for kids, they can be a very challenging for youth in foster care. At CASA, we enjoy partnering with community groups, companies and individuals to ensure the youth we serve can enjoy some extra joy during the holidays. At this event, we will collect a range of holiday gifts and gift cards to distribute to our youth.
Suggested Admission: A new, unwrapped gift or $5 donation. List of suggested gift items.
