We at CASA want to ensure that our youth, 14 and older, are leaving care with stability and focus, whether it be through securing employment or pursuing higher education. In this session, volunteers will meet Ronnesha Jackson, the Transitioning Youth Coordinator. Ronnesha’s role is to provide individualized guidance and resources to our volunteers so that we can target the interests of each of our youth and help them reach their goals. Each quarter Ronnesha will be touching base with our volunteers about the progress and barriers their youth are facing when it comes to employment and education. Come to our very first quarterly information session – gather some information, learn a little about available programs and learn how she can help you identify resources for your CASA youth.”
