Apply now for our CASA Pre-Service Training that begins Monday April 18th and runs Mondays and Wednesdays until Monday, May 16th (Click here for full schedule). Participants will learn best practices when advocating for a youth in foster care and will continue on their way to becoming a CASA volunteer and making a difference in our Community.
Volunteers are required to attend one day of Court Room Observation during the training session. This will be offered twice during the training from 8:45 am until 4:00 pm at the Prince George’s County Circuit Court. Volunteers will sign-up at training.
*Please note that all volunteers who are assigned to youth 14 and older are required to take the Fostering Futures Training. 80% of our volunteers will be assigned to teenagers. Fostering Futures will be held at the Prince George’s Child Resource Center on May 23 and 25.
