Suicide Prevention is Everybody’s Business
Suicide is a prevalent public health issue worldwide. As a result, suicide prevention has become a global initiative at the individual, family, and societal levels. In this webinar, Janel Cubbage LGPC, Director of Suicide Prevention at the Behavioral Health Administration, will be presenting an overview of suicide as a public health issue and the critical but often overlooked role that providers play in suicide prevention. Cubbage specializes in depression, trauma, and suicide idealization in under-served populations such as the African American and Military communities. She is committed to conveying hope, support and connectedness to those in need.
