Since January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month, this training will be focusing on what sex trafficking is and what is important to know. A quick refresher of 101 training will be provided but presenters will also discuss how the foster youth we work with are at greater risk of being a victim, and what we can do to help.
Additionally, one presenter who is a child sex trafficking survivor, will also briefly speak about her experience and trafficking in the DMV area.
