Join Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)/Prince George’s County on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, 6 pm – 9 pm for an interactive training on how to identify and respond to issues of child abuse and neglect. 

This presentation will be utilizing the Stewards of Children: Child Abuse and Neglect evidence-based practice model.

Participants will learn to Recognize the signs of abuse, React appropriately and Report responsibly as we work together to protect children.

Seating is limited. RSVP by August 31, 2018. A light dinner will be served.

*In-Service training hours will be available for active CASA Prince George’s County volunteers. 
*Continuing education credits will be available for Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Counselors and Nurses.

HOW TO REPORT CHILD ABUSE & NEGLECT
To make a report, call 301-909-2450. Be prepared to give the following information:
The name and home address of the child or caregiver
The present location of the child
The approximate age of the child
The identity of the individual or individuals responsible for abuse or neglect.
