11th Annual “Go to High School, Go to College” College Fair

It’s never too late or too early to begin the search for post-secondary schooling options. On Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10 am, Kappa Epsilon Lambda Education Foundation is hosting their 11th Annual “Go to High School, Go to College” College Fair. The fair takes place at Southern Regional Technology and Recreation Complex, 7007 Bock Road, Fort Washington, MD 20744 from 10 am to 12:30 pm.

  • Open to the public and groups are welcome, no county and or school restrictions.
  • iPad giveaways (No essay, residency requirement nor  grade point average necessary).
  • $1,000 Scholarship raffle (No essay, residency requirement nor  grade point average necessary).
  • Giveaways to parents/guardians.
  • Dual Enrollment Information

A variety of over 100 colleges and universities are  anticipated to participate. Colleges including private, public, faith  based, men only, women only, military academies and historically black  colleges and universities have confirmed their participation. Many more are expected to confirm Some of the colleges that have attended our Annual College Fair in the past are as follows: Duke University, Harvard University, University of North Carolina at  Charlotte, University of Maryland, University of Virginia, Jackson State University, University of Chicago, Southern University, and many  more….

  • Information concerning internship opportunities from various  government agencies
  • Financial aid workshop
  • Come dressed to impress.

Onsite interviews (Be prepared to present report card and SAT  information). Feel free to share with others and post on your Facebook account.

 

*A spanish translator will be on site for those who require this service.

*Alpha Phi Alpha will be collecting non-perishable food items to help families in Prince Georges County.

*Metro Access is available via the W13 and W14.
